Another great example of a sequel, one of the best sequels for a successful animated film. This has taken the Shrek series to where it should've been taken. It took a modern, funny and different approach to a post-fairytale marriage.
Meeting the in-laws, being accepted by the in-laws, marital arguments etc. The new characters are welcomed additions; especially Puss In Boots. The pop culture references and anti-Disney jokes are more plentiful than before.
If you loved the first Shrek you'll love this.
