Review of Shrek 2 (2004) by Sam D — 16 Aug 2013
Even better than its predecessor, Shrek 2 is able to bring the funny. The jokes are a generous helping of slapstick combined with a healthy dose of fairy tale references. The voice work brings some wonderful talent, including John Cleese and Julie Andrews as the king and queen.
The density of the humour is very high, and makes for an incredibly funny watch.
