Showtime is living proof that Eddie Murphy's career has just gone downhill. From Harlem Nights to A Thousand Words, he needs to stop making movies. Thank god that veteran actor DeNiro wasn't phased by this movie.
Overall, the film was a tedious, mediocre, and uninspiring satire.
