Review of Showgirls (1995) by Ante P — 08 Aug 2009
This bizarre semi-remake of "All about Eve" is probably one of the best worst movies I've seen. It's unbelievably pompous, sleazy, trashy and campy at the same time. I don't know what drug Joe Eszterhas was doing when he wrote this, but this is truly one-of-a-kind flick.
Although one could also blame Verhoeven, after all, he's the one responsible for this mess. Highly recommended, if you're in for something sleazy.
