Review of Showgirls (1995) by Corey M — 21 Apr 2015

For those of you who don't know they were trying to get an NC-17 rating. Which if you think about it, is way harder than one would imagine. back in 1995 male frontal nudity was a no no. and graphic gore would be hard to show the artistic side of.

That left rape and graphic sex scenes which it delivers on. not all movies have to be for kids and this was a first step in a return to that and I applaud it's effort on that note. freedom of expression means we should be allowed to view and critique such garbage.

I score it a three for it's intent in society rather than the awful contents of this films lousy dialog unsympathetic characters.
