Review of Show Boat (1951) by Wendy B — 04 Apr 2011
For the most part, this movie was okay, given that it's a musical. And there was some good dancing by the Champions, which helped add to the storyline somewhat. It was difficult for me to follow at first but as the movie progressed, it showed how certain people are a part of your life for a good reason.
The best part of all was William Warfield belting out the classic "Old Man River." :).
