Review of Shotgun Stories (2007) by Codie E — 09 Jun 2008
Really good, slight family drama. It isn't original (just look at David Gordon Green, or Hilary Birmingham's Tully) but it's a personal story with interesting characters and, for me, each small stuck in the mud town is different and unique in its own way and those slight differences really do affect in different ways.
The performances were brilliant and finally Michael Shannon gets a role worthy of his talent.
