Slow paced but largely gripping blood feud drama. I never got the significance of the shotgun wounds on the lead character's back. I can only guess they came from his father. Wasn't sure I'd enjoy the film at first with the opening scene showcasing the wounds followed by the title, but that faded away for the most part.
