Review of Shotgun Stories (2007) by Mark C — 31 Jan 2009
A very subtle, and slow moving film, Shotgun Stories is a heartbreaking film following two sets of brothers (from the same father), and their deep hatred of each other. As the hatred grows between the families, the violence escalates, and it leads to a quite surprising ending, showing the maturity, and care of the first time director Jeff Nichols.
