Review of Shotgun Stories (2007) by Alex K — 24 Jan 2012

Even though the premise has been tackled before, the slow grind of the narrative builds to a real crescendo and empowers the impact of the dramatic events that otherwise would appear matter-of-fact. Great cast and wonderfully shot, this already elevates Michael Shannon to a special height achieved by only a few actors.
