Review of Shotgun Stories (2007) by Brian H — 17 May 2011
This is a fine example of a movie that should have been so much better. The supporting roles (shampoo, etc) are painfully bad. It was directed to be a cheap morality play and that is what it winds up to be.
And to think these events could have transpired without a gun being involved is ridiculous. In the South, people want it legal to carry guns into polling places where political tensions are highest. This is (perhaps) a well-meaning Morality play that winds up understanding nothing.
