Review of Shorts (2009) by Alvina S — 27 Sep 2009

I know this film seems to be universally disliked but I think it's an excellent and entertaining kids movie. When it has its occasional gross-out joke it follows through in an original way. The nontraditional, nonlinear storytelling is an excellent way to get kids thinking about the structure of films at an early age (and *does* serve a purpose in the film, it's not just there for show).

Completely enjoyable, even despite Jon Cryer's presence.
