Review of Shortbus (2006) by Adam P — 19 May 2008
Horrible. I wish to Film Zeus that I couldn't say that. But it's a pornographic look at sex with none of the appeal of pornography. It's a candid look at relationships and types of relationships that's so formulaic and boring it's hard to finish, let alone care about finishing.
Outside of some of the lines (SOME) they say there isn't a character to enjoy. I hope the writer/director pulls something out his small gay ass that's more like his near perfect gay rock opera Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
Cause this, described by him as "a movie about sex" just isn't a worthy follow up. Or a worthy movie about sex. Or a movie worthy of a second viewing.
