Review of Shortbus (2006) by Rob S — 03 Nov 2008

Sorry, but this is not a great movie. this movie tries to be so open and honest sexually (it's practically gay porn), but the director is clearly lying to himself emotionally. people dont just watch their exes screw other people and smile and be happy for them. decent acting. really cheesy dialogue, trying way too hard to be quotable and profound. some nice CGI renderings of NYC, but what the hell did it have to do with the rest of the movie?

This had some good intent, but failed pretty miserably.
