The relationship between John Gallagher Junior and Brie Larson's characters are the best part of the film I think. My one complaint about the film is that it is almost a series of scenes that are very heavily emotional, so when it tries to make you feel very emotional on one scene, it almost makes you feel like you've already felt that way the entire film and the punch isn't as hard.
Brie Larson is fantastic as the lead role and director Destin Cretton has made a mostly memorable and realistic account of the "social workers" and "underprivileged kids" world.
