A devastating portrait of foster kids and the emotional brutality a considerable segment of society faces. I was not prepared for the acute authenticity and shear bravery this film undertakes in telling a story that is painful and funny yet ultimately heartwarming.
Bravo performances from everyone, especially from Brie Larson, who is a star ready to burst. One of the most impressive achievements in cinema all year.
