There are great acting, directing and script-wirting in Short Term 12. It almost has the whole package. Subtle, incredibly deep, raw, intense, sentimental, and it can definitely cause resonance in everybody' s heart and soul.
Just because you are good giving advice does not mean that you are also good at taking it. We are all the same bunch of fucked-up people in this universe and sometimes things only get worse, much worse, before they could manage to get slightly better.
We count on each other yet sometimes we tend to hurt the ones we love most. We, human, are weak but if we ever let it, just as David Bowie sang, we can be heroes... just for one day.
