Review of Short Cuts (1993) by Chris A — 13 Jul 2006
I'm a big fan of ensemble movies and I wasn't disappointed with Short Cuts by Robert Altman.
I'm not to familiar with Altman's work even though I know he had a big hit with the movie version of MASH, but this was a good one, even if he was stretching it a little bit.
POTC: Dead Man's Chest was entertaining evn if it didnt move the series on any further, but Johnny Depp's performance as Captain Jack was again the standout and this sequel was satisfactory, even though this was equally long at 2 1/2 hours and didn't really give an ending, meerly a set up for the final movie out next year.
