Review of Short Cuts (1993) by James K — 20 Mar 2007
This is the earliest film I have seen from that genre in where there are many intersecting stories and lives. Maybe it is not the first. This is set in LA, like many others. This is probably my favourite from that many-stories-told-in-one genre.
Other movies that I count into this group are Magnolia, Crash and Babel for example. This is my favourite from Robert Alltman too. It is nice to see Tom Waits acting. Very beautiful movie.
