Altman's most famous film made excellent use of narrative strands to create an L.A where unrelated people, living lives they never planned for, have great effect on each other through their smallest actions.
Kinda funny that Julianne Moore was in this, cause I'm pretty sure PTA spent alot of time watching this before he made Magnolia...
