Great film! Much better on the second watch, perhaps because I knew what to expect. Has still dated somewhat poorly, but full of excellent characters and direction. Some motifs are a little heavy-handed, such as the execution of segues between scenes.
This resulted in clear exposure of the directional artifice. Still, an excellent film!
