Review of Short Cuts (1993) by Bill E — 08 Mar 2010
Great performances by a massive all-star cast, perhaps Altman's best since Nashville. The stories run the gamut of interpersonal struggles between friends, family, acquaintances, and strangers. While the movie presents some unsettling and grim scenarios, it deals with them honestly and delivers a memorable and satisfying experience.
Recommended for fans of large ensemble movies or Altman films.
