Review of Short Cuts (1993) by Peter W — 09 Jun 2007
Although egos can sometimes cause a schism when two creative geniuses collaborate on material, Short Cuts demonstrates that fantastic things can happen if one of the geniuses in question is dead. Raymond Carver, short story writer and alcoholic savant, posthumously provided the source material, and Robert Altman did the rest.
Short Cuts is an incredible film that is well worth three hours of your time.
