Review of Short Cuts (1993) by Graham L — 19 Jul 2008
Altman's true masterpiece is a meeting of his own "modern epic" sensibilities with the undisputed master of everyday life, the late, great Raymond Carver. Full of fascinating intertwining stories, amusing characters, brilliant performances and memorable dialogue, it's breathtaking to watch this three-hour movie unfold.
One of the most re-watchable films ever made.
