Review of Short Cuts (1993) by Lynda M — 10 Apr 2009
Ambitious attempt by Altman, one I am sure he always wanted to make. The film is clearly not made to put bums on seats nor to please the large audiences, not to make a fortune, (sounds like the list of top 100 best films ever made!) hence if you dont get it, you will hate it.
Its sharply written directed and acted, with a strong message under the surface and it will become more popular as it has already passed the test of time.
