Review of Short Cuts (1993) by Sonny B — 03 Oct 2009
Following 'The Player', Short Cuts is more about 'real' Angelinos. A complex stories masterfully interwoven by Altman adapted from Raymond Carver's short stories. There is no obvious red threads in the stories, there is hope and hopelessness, love and hate, anger, love and lusts, ignorance and knowing.
Performances are reliable, except for some unconvincing emotional outbursts.
