Review of Shoplifters (2018) by Tejasnair — 28 Jan 2020

I am impressed by the nonchalant proceedings of and the terrific performances that make up Shoplifters, an emotional drama about an artificial family of crooks, who have a lot of skeletons in their cupboard and which drop out one by one through the plotline, making it a heart-warming experience for me, occasionally also helping highlight the hard truths of life, but I was not enthralled by the film as everyone else claims to have.
