Review of Shooter (2007) by Stephen Z — 20 Jan 2015
"Shooter" is a one of those good action/revenge films. It's nothing special, but it is an enjoyable movie. The plot is very predictable and full of clichés, but some nice action and a stellar performance by Mark Wahlberg make up for this film's shortcomings.
Sure, some of the plot doesn't make sense, and sure it's not destined to be the next "First Blood", but "Shooter" is a decent action film, and it is a great Wahlberg film.
