Review of Sholay (1975) by Chinmay O — 04 May 2008
A complete entertainer. Sholay's screenplay is a real hero. Very good adaptation of Seven Samurai and western curry classics. However, 1 star less from me as songs comes as a hindrance in narrative.
From film-making point of view director's vision was ahead of its times and thats why Sholay can be enjoyed in today's times also.
