As an American release of several of the Lone Wolf and Cub movies combined into one, Shogun Assassin is an exceptionally thrilling and well made revenge film that shines with epic battle-scenes and stylized arthouse direction.
The only flaw that can be found is the cheesiness from the English dubbing. Despite that all is well.
