Review of Shocker (1989) by Robert V — 20 May 2008
Fun fusion of 80's metal, style and Wes Craven horror. This at times tepid film follows Horace Pinker as he hobbles relentlesly after those who become his victims. After he gets the chair he comes more powerful than ever, travel through electrical currents in both people and technology.
Bad special effects, funny dialogue and an awesome performance by Mitch Pileggi as the killer himself make this a fun romp through an oft neglected Craven film.
