Review of Shock Treatment (1973) by Jed G — 02 Dec 2007
Not quite Rocky Horror, but at the same time why should it have to be?
Shock Treatment was less of a sequel and more of a seperate film taking characters we are already familiar with.
If the movie tried to be like RHPS, I feel like people would be up in arms that it didn't live up.
I give props to Richard O'Brien for making a good companion film to RHPS that was in no way the same, proving himself to be versatile.
And besides...how many times could Brad and Janet deal with transvestite aliens???
