Review of Shock Corridor (1963) by Jonathan F — 25 Feb 2010
An interesting look at the line between sanity and insanity. Throughout, the cuts are interesting and the story is pretty good too. The only disappointing thing is the way the film treats mental instability.
All of the characters have split personalities, making them completely insane most of the time and completely in control of their faculties for short moments. This perfect split seems a little unrealistic, but hey, it's a movie.
