Review of Shock Corridor (1963) by Phillip R — 28 Sep 2008
Once I got past the premise that he becomes insane simply from interaction with the other residents, I really enjoyed this. It's an interesting story, and there are some great performances here. Peter Breck's slow transformation is chilling, as is the internal dialogue that we hear.
An excellent supporting cast of memorable insane patients, from the black white-supremacist, to Pagliacci .
