Review of Ship of Fools (1995) by John R — 02 May 2014
A kind of microcosm of German/European pre WWII society interacting on a cruise headed to Bremerhaven. It is thoroughly serious in its exposition of humanity; complete with racism, class struggle, gender issues, the search for life's purpose, and wanted and unwanted relationships.
It was interesting, but not something I enjoyed especially.
