The Shinjuku Incident (2009) is a drama film in which we see Jackie Chan breaking away for the first time from his usual role that is action-packed-with-stunts. This gives rise to making Jackie look slightly miscast in this film.
Despite the above-average cast in this film, Jackie Chan steals the limelight throughout the film as the remainder of the cast are all relegated to unimportant roles with insignificant screen time (if any).
All in all, an average film that may be worth a watch. However, do not expect any Jackie-stunts in this film.
