I did not mind this movie. I enjoyed the story line but it did play it safe for the most part to keep both sides happy I feel. Although it did make up for it in the amount of limbs flying places. Definitely not a movie for everyone maybe fans only.
However I do recommend this for all only because it does make you aware of china's recent history before the financial boom.
