Review of Shinjuku Incident (2009) by Anthony F — 15 Jul 2010

No this to me is not the greatest non traditional Jackie Chan movie i've ever seen but it is pretty good but not great. He goes more for acting than action and that's alright with me. I've always felt he had a larger range than just really really sweet fight scenes and stunts.

and i've also felt that he could only achieve this range if he did a foreign film in his natural language. he is pretty dramatic in this and does not know how to fight very well either. he cuts limbs off of people, shoots someone IN DA FACE, and has sex with a lady of the street.

nope definitely not typical jackie. sometimes things were just moving too fast for you to really care about the people in it. especially when his little group starts making some money. it's not bad but like I said I don't think it will be his best talky no kicky.

i'm really eager to see another non tradish called LITTLE BIG SOLDIER or BIG SOLDIER. not sure what the real title is called.
