Review of Shine a Light (2008) by Laurence P — 07 Sep 2008
Mildly entertaining--the Stones can do rock even when they are half asleep or on something--they know their stuff and are mildly bored with the routine. Scorsese gets that part and the show biz glamor-.
About half way through youi get fed up with Jaggers' constant preening lookat me.
Style you watch the rest is to see if he can do better and rise above this and you realize he can't --this is what he is all about and what the Stones were always a bad boy fantasy--white guys playing black guys with soul and tight jeans.
