Review of Shine a Light (2008) by Paul C — 25 Mar 2009

Seeing the backstage scenes at the beginning was very interesting. but this did not set the pace for the rest of the film. I was expecting more on the background of The Stones, but instead this a concert film with a little archival footage intersperced.

Camera angles are excellent though for the concert, but unfortunately (IMHO) the song selection was not top notch. And for some reason watching Jagger prance around the stage at his age made me wonder when its time for them to call it quits.
