Review of Shine a Light (2008) by Jubei Y — 22 May 2008
Directed by Martin Scorsese. I must say I was disappointed as I expected a documentary about the Stones, but instead got a so so concert film. Can't say I was impressed - Shine A Light feels like a run of the mill concert film, and I didn't think that the cinematographers know the music as the shots failed to capture the musicians when they were soloing.
