Review of Shine a Light (2008) by Conqueror K — 30 May 2008
I had the pleasure of going to the gala premiere of Shine A Light at IMAX in Sydney, and it was probably, the best concert film I have ever seen.
Martin Scorsese sure knows how to film a concert. The Stones have still got it, after 40 years. The guest appearances by Jack White, Christina Aguilera are great, but the best guest appearance was Buddy Guy. Brilliant performance.
Well shot by 16 world famous Oscar winning and Oscar nominated cinematographers, supervised by my favourite cinematographer, Robert Richardson, Shine A Light is an experience you will never forget.
