The father character gives me nightmares/homicidal thoughts, but supposedly his eccentricities and role in the breakdown were greatly distorted...providing me with some relief. phew.
Did Geoffrey give the best performance that year? With all the hubbub over the English Patient, I'm surprised Ralph didn't win. It wasn't quite as showy of a role, however.
