Review of Shine (1996) by Steve Z — 03 Jul 2008
Powerful performances by the two actors in this. Stahl was one of those characters you'd like at first and the hate and go back and forth. It was hard for me to like him, then at the same time felt sorry for him.
But, the highlight here is Rush. By far one of the best performance he's done. I pretty much didn't even see Rush, I saw David.
Being based on a true story there isn't a whole lot more to say about it. Worth watching if you haven't seen it.
