I don't know how this got 90% on tomatometer. I love monster movies & am infinitely patient. At least 20 people walked out of the cinema when I watched it in Bangkok (I stayed to the bitter end).

90% of the movie is stuck in meeting rooms as government officials move from one room to the next going through protocols and legislation. Sure the novelty value of a non-cgi monster is 'different', but it's so laughable & the seemingly toy-city-style action sequences makes the production value feel lazy & monotonous.

Look forward to seeing other audience reviews here once released stateside & UK.
