Review of Shin Godzilla (2016) by Conor F — 10 Oct 2016
If you go in expecting fun monster action with lots of roars and laser blasts, you'll be surely disappointed by the talky but fast-paced natural disaster drama that unfolds. This is perhaps the best thing Shin Godzilla has going for it -- it's less of a fun monster romp and more of a thoughtful, well-made film that realistically portrays just how screwed everyone would be if Godzilla was real.
