Don't expect a movie just about Godzilla stomping around. This is a disaster movie that asks "how would we deal with giant moster attacking a metropolitan area?" If you can manage to get invested in the human cast of stodgy bureaucrats, quirky scientists, and frustrated officials, this movie is well worth your time.
