Review of Shin Godzilla (2016) by Dolby W — 11 Oct 2016

Love the camera angles not so big on the bad cg. Always been a fan of the suitmation and some of scenes were syfy channel quality effects. Acting was good. Cinematography was great. Scene editing was great even making conference scene not too hard to sit through.

The new Godzilla was interesting as you'll want to see what all it will and can do. It's all a bit anticlimactic though. It's wasn't hard for me to sit through but I feel now that I know what's going to happen it would probably be hard to sit through a different time.

Music was fine, hitting those nostalgia nerves. There are some memorable scenes that I kind of want to see again though at the time I remember thinking how bad they looked. It's such a frustrating thing knowing they could have done them using suits or puppets and have them look better.

Though some scenes of the cg Godzilla do look fine, quite good and menacing honestly.
