Review of She's the Man (2006) by Tara S — 06 Jun 2010
Violet wants to play football but due to her being a girl, she cannot. She swaps places with her brother at his new school to have her chance. Cue football training montages and scrapes which Violet's identity is almost revealed.
It doesn't sound like an exciting film but it's worth it for the great comedy performances and interesting characters.
