Review of She's Out of My League (2010) by Evan D — 22 Oct 2010
Kirk is just an average guy who has little luck with women and works TSA at the airport. When Molly, a perfect and beautiful woman, forgets her cell phone at the security check point, Kirk has to return it to her when she gets back from her trip.
It just so happens that these two people, who are seemingly uncompatible in today's society, fall in love. Kirk's lack of confidence causes some problems with their relationship, though. As the film's tagline states, "How can a 10 go for a 5?" The film, of course, seems to hit on all of the clichà (C) romantic comedy antics, but is a romantic comedy guys will enjoy as well.
It is constructed with the humor of films like 'The Hangover' and the heart of films like 'Runaway Bride'. Just very well written, with great performances by a very talented cast that includes Jay Baruchel, Alice Eve, T.
J. Miller, Lindsay Sloane, Mike Vogel, and Debra Jo Rupp. It is definitely one of the funniest and probably underrated comedies of 2010.
